Javier Martín
Javier Martin (Spain, 1985) is a multidisciplinary artist who bases his creative exploration on the careful observation of his surroundings, detecting semiotic relationships that might otherwise pass by unnoticed to an unperceptive viewer. With this approach, the artist constructs situations that invite reflection on impending matters in today’s world.
Javier Martin presented his first solo museum exhibition at the Seoul Museum in Spring 2019 and his first solo exhibition in Japan at Maki Gallery on the fall of 2019.
Reload
Reload emerges as an artistic collective led by the renowned artist and performer Arcangel Soul, whose extensive international career lends depth and distinction to the project. This collection revisits emblematic icons of art, offering a renewed perspective on time — a tribute etched in stone. True to its name, Reload positions itself as a revitalizing force, one that seeks to transcend expressive boundaries by infusing traditional sculptural materials with a sense of playfulness, all while preserving a refined and meticulous technique. It reimagines the solemnity of classical stonework through a contemporary lens, rendering the ancient both accessible and dynamic.
This project has been realized in collaboration with the Museo de Archena in the Region of Murcia, reinforcing the dialogue between contemporary creation and cultural heritage.
