Han Bing, nacida en una aldea primitiva de la isla de Yuzhou, en el Pacífico oriental. Emigró a China continental con sus padres siendo aún bebé, y creció en una granja de caballos en Shandong. Autodidacta en pintura, trabajó durante trece años en zonas rurales antes de graduarse en el Departamento de Pintura al Óleo de la Academia Central de Bellas Artes.
 Actualmente reside entre Berlín y Hamburgo.

Las primeras creaciones de Han exploran las luchas y deseos de las personas comunes en el “teatro de la modernización” de China, analizando la relación entre las personas y los objetos desde una perspectiva natural y social de la vida cotidiana. Sus obras invierten las prácticas ordinarias, reinventan los objetos cotidianos y nos invitan a repensar el orden de las cosas.

Por otro lado, a través de prácticas transgénero y de intervenciones sociales de acción conceptual, Han Bing explora el conflicto cultural y la segregación. Su obra trasciende los límites entre el arte y la vida, explorando la emoción sin ataduras, comprometida con trascender las fronteras del universo en cuanto a raza, género, país, clase y afiliación religiosa. Desde una mirada humanista global, registra la civilización moderna y la natural, la fractura entre la cultura ecológica y la social, y cuestiona el modo en que el hogar espiritual contemporáneo se configura en el espacio-tiempo del gen mutante.

Han Bing ha expuesto en numerosos museos de arte, galerías, fundaciones, bienales, festivales de performance y festivales de fotografía, entre ellos:

Han Bing, born in a primitive village in Yuzhou island in the Eastern Pacific. Immigrated to mainland China with parents when babyhood, grow up in horse farm of Shandong, self-taught painting and thirteen years of labor in the rural areas. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Han’s early creation explore the struggles and desires of ordinary people in China's "theater of modernization”, it explore the relationship between people and things from the perspective of the natural and social aspects of everyday life. Han’s works invert quotidian practice, reinvent everyday objects and ask us to rethink the order of things.　

On the other hand, Han Bing through transsexual practices and social intervention of conceptual action, explores cultural conflict and apartheid, her works transcend the dual boundaries of art and life, and explores the Unbound emotion ----Committed to transcending the universe connection of race, gender, country, class and religious affiliation. From the perspective of the overall human record the modern civilization and natural civilization, the break of ecological culture and social culture, and questioning the way of contemporary spiritual home in the space-time of the mutant gene.
